Every summer, many students experience a decline in academic skills known as the summer slide. Without consistent opportunities to practice reading, math, and critical thinking, students—particularly those from underserved communities—may lose progress made during the school year. EEC is committed to preventing summer slide by providing engaging, hands-on learning experiences that keep students academically active while making learning enjoyable.
